Lamar Jackson’s season was nothing short of historic. Not only did he join the ranks of elite quarterbacks by throwing for over 4,000 yards, but he also managed to rush for an additional 900 yards. His performance earned him a First-Team All-Pro nod and he was recognized widely as the best quarterback in the league. Yet, paradoxically, the MVP title eluded him, favoring Allen, whose accolades, at the end of the season, appeared to lack justification compared to Jackson's impressive stats and on-field accomplishments.
