He spoke about widespread unemployment, homeless citizens, and families torn apart by poverty. Highlighting the scale of the crisis, he urged the German people to grant him four years to initiate change. While he reassured the nation of his commitment to economic revival, the underlying truth was far more sinister; Hitler’s obsession had long been to establish a racially pure state, free of Jews whom he blamed for Germany's woes.
