Part 2/10:

The first lesson teaches us to embrace the concept of impermanence, known in Buddhism as anica. The Buddha emphasized that everything in life is transient — our thoughts, emotions, and even our fears. Anxiety often stems from our resistance to change and our attachment to the notion that things should remain static. Fear of losing jobs, health, or loved ones can lead to panic, but this can be alleviated by recognizing the constant presence of change in life.

Understanding that everything is temporary — including happiness, pain, and fear — allows you to let go of the need for control. Every challenge, hardship, or period of discomfort is temporary. By accepting this, you can shift your focus from worrying about the unknown to embracing change as an essential part of life.
