With your batter ready, scoop about one-third to half a cup of the mixture into your preheated waffle iron, depending on its size. Close the lid and cook for 3 to 4 minutes, or until the waffles are golden brown. Pay attention as the first waffle might take a bit less time, but subsequent batches will require a consistent cooking time.
To ensure crispy waffles, transfer them to a cooling rack immediately after they’re done. This allows steam to escape, preventing sogginess.
