Lightning network might not be perfect, but it's being used by merchants and regular folks in Central America to pay for coffee, tortillas and electricity. The way I see it, we can use V4Vapp to show HIVE being accepted IRL. 💡s?

Yes. I have used it last time when I was in Guatemala City, restaurants got stickers but a lot of "workers" don't know how you can pay with BTC. It is mostly "owner" who have his phone and wallet with him. More education should be done.
We definitely need more education; for sure!
I'm saying it's a starting point for normies to be exposed to HIVE/BTC. A lot of Lightning bashing goes on here, but I think we should embrace it more to increase exposure to HIVE.
Agree. Just saying that I am within crypto since 2016 and on Hive since 2018 and I can see this over and over, education is a key but even in El Salvador outside of El Zonte it is not really working as it shows on internet :)
I also used V4V to exchange Hive to Lightning and will do video about it soon.

V4V does tap into it and allow for the ability to use HIVE.
However, we can also usurp that network (Lightning) at some point too.
