If they decide to crank up your fees and change your coin logo, they will just do that. We've seen that happen in the past. It is also a use case for the coins at the base layer, something that gets overlooked. People talk about $HIVE skipping the fact that we are going to require some in LPs to simply transact financially.
We have the security, we have the transaction speed, 1 block irreversibility, HBD to get risk-off, and no transaction fees. Talking about perfect conditions for a wrapped coin.
That is how I view it. As long as the node system that is running/housing the wrapped token is decentralized, which they are talking about, then we are eliminating the 3rd part risk on that layer also.

Dan is right, $BTC to fiat is all that is needed. Operate with Hive and HBD as crypto-to-crypto.
Absolutely, and we'll be able to bridge Fiat to HBD via trading networks as well. CEXs will not be the only on-offramp forever.

Lets be honest, until a couple weeks ago, the engagement on hive was dead. No comments were placed really. Even leothreads is dead in relative to the internet.
I think this is the internet at this point. Alot of content but fewer engagements.
I have been everywhere these past few weeks. Medium, LinkedIn, Reddit, etc there isn't so much excitement around crypto, so that's not an issue
It is an issue. This is our story. Engagement on hive is non existent and always was. So saying it is just crypto at the moment is misleading. Hive does not have engagement, and really never did. Pull people to a dead app is a waste.

That is why the apps have to take it up. Nobody cares about Hive. That is like promoting AWS over Netflix. We need to promote Leofinance, or more specifically, Leothreads.
That is absolutely right. That comparison hits the nail on the head. Promote Apps that add functionality and have a clear vision for growth.
That is the drawback to trying to market hive. Users do not care about Hive...they care about apps and what they use. This is sales 101.
Yet nobody wants to listen. They seem to know better.
Well yes, because they mostly try to pander to the curators on the chain. Leo is the first attempt to curate merit-based. Imagine that, after 7 years of history, the first community is brave enough to give away the power to freely upvote or maximize for APY, but goes for marit-based curation ruled by openly communicated rules.

All my old content now has broken images since I used HTML tags.
Who knows what the URL changes did to Google and I can't see traffic stats.
Not to mention how gross it is to read and interact with long form on the new UI.
Shit, I cannot count how many times I've had to personally fix links and images on over 100 articles, it's one hell of a job, hopefully you won't have to go through that, maybe the UI will get to where the broken images will be fixed?
