I think you can but I wouldn't recommend it. It's better to earn them while doing the usual stuff: upvoting commentating etc

You can't stake those points if that what you mean. You also get points for reblogs and posting through the app

Oh, I forgot: if you leave the app open it also gives you 0.250 points per half an hour
