I seem to be becoming less and less a hive game player and more of a game investor as of late. IDK if I'm happy about that or not I miss playing.

Is this purely because you're finding you can make just as much investing and it's therefore not worth your time to grind?
The amount invested now far out beats what I make/made playing. In particular Splinterlands but that will most likely change when land comes out. I'll need to sink a lot of time into that but it's also like a passive investment as well.
Games need to better monetise their audience via active gameplay and make that option more lucrative.
True, a solid good game will automatically drive a lot of player base and a lot of revenue without trying to force it down with more investments.
(H)Ive been on both sides of the game too. Try to both at the same time for the best of both worlds.
same, can't recall last time I farmed some crop with @dcrops
Ah yes good old Dcrops the big benefit of that game is you only have to really touch it once every few days.
