Hive has been working the way it is and has gone through some crazy times. However I do believe there is always room for improvement and along that way to improvement there will be mistakes, abuse and the likes of which if the community holds together and is strong can work towards mitigating these things. That's why I was very excited to see so much talk, learning and general activity from everyone in hive about the possible HBD APR change.
I'm not a fan of anything automated when the system is designed and pushed as a proof of brain concept. Instead you're now pushing towards proof of bot to be honest. Scheduling, curation trails, voter bots etc should all be removed but that's never going to happen. Proof of brain = Proof of work.
There is a space for automation, but there is also a limit on how much is good, before it becomes harmful. For instance, we don't want a world where everyone is unemployed because of automation and AI, but we are heading inevitably that way, because how humans think and evolve. But, even if we had that, we would still want to have some form of activity for ourselves, even if it doesn't compete with the bots.
On Hive, we get a chance to learn and build, showcase our talents and engage with people from all over. Those who are just here to extract - they will never commit to a better future.
