Satoshis Treasure
Satoshi accumulated approximately 1M BTC in the early days of the Network. This stack is still untouched since his vanishing.
These Bitcoin are spread via thousands of Wallets. About 20.000 is a number mainly heard and researched. Most of those Bitcoin adresses contain 50 BTC, which was the reward for adding one block to the chain.
Satoshi left a decentralized treasure, hidden in cyberspace. One day, probably though quantum computing, these cryptograpically sealed vaults will be deciphered and the Bitcoin will be redistributed.
My learning
I always thought that Satoshis Bitcoin are held only via a few wallets and that „finding this treasure“ will give a lot of power to the people getting them. Having learned that‘s not the case, does give me relief and again proves, what benefits decentrelisation has
Wusste auch nicht, dass die anfänglichen Blockrewards über so viele Adressen verteilt sind, wurden anscheinend nie bewegt.
Ja. Aber find ich gut. Dezentral von Beginn an sozusagen.
Hmm
I actually feel Satoshi still has the highest numbers of BTC in history
