Roasting and Smoking cooking techniques are almost the same but with little difference.
The heat temperature used in both cooking techniques is different.
The smoking time is longer than the roasting time.
The taste and aroma differ too. Smoked meat has a smoky aroma and taste while roasted meat has the aroma of the ingredients (seasoning and spices) used and when tasted, you feel that great delicious taste of the meat.
