The most influential and, in my opinion, best way to attract people to Hive, is by making onboarding easy.
Have more communities that call for engagement, sort of like Reddit.
Let newcomers have some "loaned" HP until they have some of their own and understand the importance of it and preferably also some understanding of the ecosystem itself.
Maybe use some kind of quiz after a month or so, that test their knowledge and understanding of the basics.

And that 70k is gone forever on a random target audience.
I see the issue. I'm no marketing or financial expert, but I think a better audience would be reached via streaming than via rally. Although the rally sounded nice at first
