Hey Jessies
I've been thinking a lot about how a constantly inflating currency tends to drive people to be more aggressive about making profits, either by making you more reliant on the product, creating monopolies or creating new needs for their product. Hence, you keep coming back for more.
Goods and services were meant to solve problems that consumers have, but to me, it now looks like they only there to solve the revenue growth of companies. We see how nothing is made to last these days, everything becomes obsolete, and you constantly have to buy, replace or keep up with the latest version.
The more inflation increases, the more companies are forced to take more drastic measures to survive, as they need to beat the hurdle rate.
The sicker you are, the more profitable you become
We've seen an explosion in the medical field and not always for the better. We have so many remedies these days for a near endless list of symptoms. Making sure we remain sick is a profitable business, and you can see that play out with the whole Covid thing too.
The lazier you are, the more profitable you become
When you are lazy, they love it; they profit from you vegging out on Netflix, watching youtube, eating fast food, harming your body with bad habits and then they can charge you for unnecessary medical expenses.
They are not making your life easier for the sake of you saving time and money. They are making your life easier to get to more of your money.
The less self-sufficient you are, the more profitable you become
We can see this play out with your food; you rely on certain stores and supply chains. You can see this with the banks; they own your money. They don't want you to be independent, to have food independence, monetary independence or independence of thought.
The more you rely on banks, on corporations on supply chains, the more profitable you are for the shareholders.
The more indebted you are, the more profitable you become
If you depend on other peoples money for your livelihood, you are at the will of the cost of that capital. Interest rates on those repayments will continue to steal from your labour, and you'll remain a profitable asset on the balance sheet of the banks.
Stop making yourself profitable for others
That's why you need to take back your health, take back your mind, take back your money and take ownership of yourself, your property and your time. Make sure you reduce your profitability to others where you don't see a single penny.
Have your say
What do you good people of HIVE think?

Very well said.
My making ourselves on these corporates and other industries we are making them profitable.
They use smart ticks to make more money like, changing the packaging of food, but they don't change just the packaging but they either reduce the amount of food or increase the price for same quantity.
We have seen it all.
Yeah exactly it's not about trying to service the customer anymore and because they all going this way, there's no options other than doing it yourself, so if you're not taking ownership over your money or food then you are stuck with what they give you
Yes, in time I'd be able to quit my job and make money on my own.
That's going to be great and I hope when you do it you also get to keep that money I see many business owners just running to pay other businesses and that's no way to live
This is very true post but people do not know.
Well this bad habits and chill life is what we are used to already .

People say they want freedom but freedom isn't free it requires effort and people don't want to put in that effort
Well its pretty much true that most of the public seems to be pursuing convenience and it does make the companies more profitable. So yes most people are just adding to the numbers in the big corporations.

And when you do that you keep less for yourself, so you're constantly chasing money to give it to corporations and governments
Imo, it's pretty much impossible to not be a profit. Yeah, you can reduce it by maybe owning a farm and taking better care of yourself, but you'll still be a profit to one part of the chain. We're all trying to create ease for ourselves in one way or another.
I think the solution is to have more money. While the industries consider you their profit, you won't mind coz you're turning others into your profit as well.

Indeed it's unavoidable but there are ways to reduce your dependency and with less people dependent and more people sovereign and independent the world can be more anti fragile

So true!!
We enrich corporations, government and companies at the expense of our financial status just because we claim we need comfort and convenience
Oh I couldn’t have put it better myself that’s so spot on, we giving away our time to others not thinking of was it worth it! When you give away your energy so easily no wonder ou feel drained and empty
