Everything in excess can harm our health, even water. But the recommended amount depends on factors such as the weather and if we exercise. On hot days, we should drink more than the recommended 2-3 lts to replenish the liquid we sweat.

Lol!! I, on the other hand, have to make an effort to drink more water. Especially because as we get older, we need to stay more hydrated ;)
