Sometimes, I can't help but wonder whether Hive gets so little attention in the Cryptosphere because you don't to invest in a bunch of expensive mining rigs and know cryptic code to get some...
#hive #crypto
I think a big part of it is we don't have a team that communicates to the publications and has a relationship with them. Most companies have a department just for that. Journalists sit at home and pick up on or are fed stories inorganically these days and we just aren't that organized. They don't go out and find them anymore. That's a fault of decentralization, though Hive is set up in a way that can happen.
The main reason is "where do you buy the coin??"
Ask the avg US cyrpto investor and they can not find a way to purchase.
These keeps us out of any web3 story.
the main reason is becuase it is difficult to buy the token.
We are not listed on most CEX.
So US crypto world is basically not able to get hive without work.
If we were on Coinbase/Robinhood/Cash App we would take off.
it is that simple.
yep. the goal is to limit on/off ramps for any truly decentralized tokens.
Which is why I tell people if you want tokens that go up! go elsewhere. If you are happy with token go sideways and building use cases for HBD. and believe in the long term agenda. Welcome to the community!!!
I'm hopeful that commerce in HBD will eventually become a thing here... a nice peer-to-peer marketplace for goods and services, like a decentralized eBay/Amazon marketplace type thing.

That's a fact! Unless you happen to be in Korea... and that's just not enough. With Bittrex gone, it's pretty barren territory.
