To be honest, I never liked the entire of idea of "influencers" that could be bought... that's not influence, that's just straight advertising. My travel agency isn't better because William Shatner says so, it's better because it has better service. But I guess a lot of people are kind of shallow...

That is very true. People are getting paid to advertise various things, but their audience blindly follows whatever they say due to the influence they have.. And that influence is only based on the number of followers they have.
