There is a book "4 day work week"where they have theories of replacing some jobs.
The thing is pandemic has shown people that spending all the time at home and with family is NOT productive and may result in toxicity in relationships. Too much exposure and all that.
Tim Ferris took this idea even further with The 4-Hour Workweek
It's more of a self-help book but Ferris is a good writer. Worth the time

I don't know of any book titles, but I have to believe that someone wrote a book discussing the 4-day work week. If the usual places don't have it for sale, maybe a PDF version of some book about the 4-day work week exists for a download.

You can check amazon for "The 4 Day Week: How the Flexible Work Revolution Can Increase Productivity, Profitability and Well-being, and Create a Sustainable Future" by Andrew Barnes. The book is on how companies are going to push the workers to work remotely and in the process the traditional work hours and work days would be adjusted.
I would think crypto jobs should continue to grow like wildfire.

I think most of the jobs will still be handled by the robots. Once things can be done by a program, those human resources will drop out of the available pool in my opinion.

I'm considering making a career change to work with something more related to blockchain.
But on the other hand, I'm also trying to get rid of any job at all so it's a bit of a pickle lol

You don't need to make a career change to work with something related to blockchain. You just need to find a way to make blockchain and crypto your side hustle. If you can tie it to your day job (or your desired day job), even better. 2 streams of income are better than just the 1 from the day job.
If the income from the side hustle turns out to be lucrative to the point where you can turn the side hustle into the day job and the actual day job into history, do that. That's the dream!

Hehehe yea that's true. I'm trying to do something along those lines but sometimes I feel like I would really enjoy working with blockchain.

What can you do with blockchain and cryptocurrency?
It's because of these possibilities that I'm interested in cryptocurrency. It's new enough that each of us can find a niche where we can make it big either by direct investment or by helping others make it big.

Yeah that's a good list
I'm considering something along the lines of project/product management on blockchain-related applications and projects. That way I could leverage at least some of my skills and 10+ years of experience in project management

That's what I mean!
Move into blockchain and crypto in a way that makes sense for you and develop that for s 2nd stream of income. Once you know what you're doing and have it going try something else in blockchain and crypto. After a while you may have several projects going in blockchain and crypto. Each project can be its own stream of income
During all this time you still have your day job (even if it's being a student). It will take time to lay the ground work for your blockchain and crypto projects, but one they are in motion they will work for you.
In that way, it's like starting Hive with 0.000 HIVE and minimal Resource Credits: you found a way to go from nothing to where you are today on Hive and at LeoFinance.
