RE: Automatic And Manual

in LeoFinance21 days ago

I must confess, when I saw the title, I thought you were going to talk about cars.

Thinking about it, maybe there should be a conversation on automatic and manual cars, the pros and cons....

But back to your conversation about curating, personally, I find that curating manually gives you a personal touch, helps you get close to the author a bit more and the amount of upvote is dependent on how moved you are by the post.

Some posts deserve more upvotes than others, subjectively speaking.

Haha I love driving a manual car! I actually want to get another one really badly but sadly they don't make them as much anymore which sucks! I have found that Toyota still does it for a lot of cars which is good.

I did throw a few people for a loop with the title :D

I like the blend of manual versus automatic. It works well for me given my situation and time constraints.

I love driving a manual car!

I dont know why you do, but manual cars seem to be a lot more tasking. Having to think of each gear and stepping on the clutch everytime is exasperating for me

I think in the days of everything being automated and our subconscious brain taking over, it’s important to have things we do on our own. I think if more people drove manual cars there would be less accidents because you have to be more mentally present in the act of driving versus an automatic.

I agree...

Manual cars cause you to be present in the action of driving. However, like the steam engine they are gradually phasing out.
in a few years, we would be talking about self driving cars taking over our streets.
