Planning for 2025
Last week, I set out the savings goals for next year:
- building your HP, especially accounts aiming to reach Dolphin (about 5,800 HP).
- creating an emergency fund using HBD.
- building your EDS and SPI holdings.
We had a lot of support for these goals, thank you everyone for your feedback. All savers will be welcome, whatever their goals, the goals above are the ones Saturday Savers Club will be focussing on.
What activities would you like to see next year?
We had a lovely feedback about activities you'd like to see:
- No buy months (what about March, June and October for these)?
- Other savings challenges.
- Saving tips.
- Creating wealth on Hive tips (passive income, delegating/leasing, contests).
- Building your network tips (eg CommentRewarder service)
- Life hacks tips (former tips revisited for new SSC members. New tips solicited).
- Using your voting mana (curating).
We also had several great suggestions about a section in the weekly post for sharing HIVE developments with links to posts, shared by Savers.

Hello all Savers. I had an exciting week with reaching my 2nd savings goal. I'm now over 30K HP and have a new goal: 35,000 HP.
This should keep me busy throughout the remainder of 2025. Thanks so much @shanibeer for considering the recommendations I put forward for 2025 Club goals. Hope they are of interest to members.
First, congratulations to all Savers who met goals during the week. Also, congrats to @esmeesmith and @sylmarill on winning EDS for your comments last week. It does pay to be active.
My SSC Week 44 Activity:
As I stated, I was active this week, including participating in the Nov. HivePUD. I was fortunate enough to be able to see an increase in 2,592 HP that helped me meet my 27.5K HP goal. I'm also closing in on my EDS goal.

While I didn't have a lot to report about this past week, other than reaching 2 of my 3 weekly goals, and my HPUD powerup, which gave me the boost that I needed to cross the milestone of 8,100 HP. I already linked my HPUD in last week's post, but I'm doing it here again, as I posted my comment after the deadline. I do have several suggestions for building and growing, but I don't have a lot of time to go into them at this moment. Hopefully soon!

I had a chance to improve my SPS goal numbers which is my Third goal for the year besides HP and LP.
Added about 6.5K SPS with total now 72K with 8K more required to reach the goal.

It was a good one, and I even earned myself a Monthly Author badge in Hivebuzz (only my second since starting on Hive !)
For next year, I love the idea of a "Hive Updates" section in the weekly post. There's always so much going on, it would be great to have a place where at least a chunk of it is gathered together in one location. I also like the idea of tips for how to grow wealth on Hive, especially if they're in the form of step-by-step guides for less IT-literate people like me to follow 😀
The monthly HBD interest payment hit which gave a bit of a boost back towards my goal that the 15% rate is affecting. I've taken a couple rounds of HP power downs to bring my current and goal closer. The liquid gets to sit for random projects that are coming around. Threw down on the SWAP.GIFU to have some on hand in case it does actually move.
Thanks for the EDS tokens. Ths should help me for the 500 goal. We are getting closer to year end and so let's hope to reach atleast few more percent for HP.
My goal stays the same - 2500 HBD it's just the strategy must adopt. I've realized I'm Minnow from recently and moving on for Dolphin status :)
