Savers Community?
There was lots of support for a community but also this feedback from @dewabrata:
Personally I lean more on NO for creating a community. Currently what I see is that people make #saturdaysavers on C/ Inleo, C/ Freecompliments, C/ silver bloggers, and other different communities, and this will make #saturdaysavers gets engagement from many communities.
It makes good sense to bring lots of people from many different communities to the Saturday Savers Club weekly post. So for 2025, we're going to stay with the same format of a weekly post on the @eddie-earner account.
@alonicus had a good idea about linking with the Busy Bees community. In addition, we could regularly feature a community each week in the Saturday Savers Post - let me have your ideas of the best communities for newcomers in the comments below. (Please say why you think it is a good community).
Buddies?
There was lots of support for a buddy or mentoring scheme and lots of very realistic comments about how much time Savers had.
We already get interaction between Savers on the weekly post. We could build on that by inviting anyone with a query to post a comment, and then the people who have offered to help could check the post for queries once or twice during the week and answer any that they can.
Here's the list of Savers who have offered to help newcomers:

We could easily add or take away people from the list as we go through the year. If you're available and want to join the list or you're busy or want to take a break for a while, you can let me know in a comment on the weekly post and I can add or remove you.
Other options. We could:
- include the list of Savers who have offered to help in the post. Anyone with a query could tag an account from the list in their comment so you would get an alert.
- include information and a link to The Terminal on Discord (a kind of directory of questions and answers with lots of FAQs as well as real people to help you).
- highlight the link to the Saturday Savers channel on Discord.
One of the things @rqr4 mentioned in their feedback was a voting bot to support Savers. Saturday Savers Club uses @eds-vote which rewards anyone who holds a minimum of 100 EDS (you can also delegate to @eds-vote - either 1,000 HP or 2,500 HP). @eds-vote also has a curation trail which anyone can join to support Savers.

Hello @shanibeer and all Savers. Hope all who celebrate had a lovely Thanksgiving holiday. Finally, a bit of cool weather has set in. I see that @susie-saver is still on track. Last week I placed in the SSC post comments my new EDS goal of 1K.
Congratulations to all Savers who reached their goals this week. Also, congrats to @tydynrain and @heruvim1978 for winning EDS for your last week comments.
MY SSC Week 48 Activity
This week, I was a bit surprised at my rewards totaling 148.867. However, with Hive's price rising to almost 30cents, it did provide a boost. I continue to average posting daily and hope to continue until year-end.

Thank you so much for the EDSMM and the EDS! Here are links to my HPUD post, and to my latest update, for your reading pleasure. I had a pretty good week, with all three of my weekly goals being reached or surpassed, 45+ HIVE being powered up for HPUD, and surpassing 8,300 HP. I should also reach 8,400 HP some time this week.
On the topic of what communities (whether they have an official community or not) are best for newcomers, I'd say @zakludick'a Busy Bees, @bradleyarrow's BBH community, Ecency, and The Alive and Thriving community (though this one is barebones in terms of in terms of admins, me being one of three, and activities), as every one is very friendly, helpful, and supportive of newbies. I'm a part of all of them, and I can say that that not only do I see assistance being given often, but I'm also one of those who often gives such support.
I like this option best. I'm far more likely to see people's questions and queries if they tag me.
Now on to another excellent week of building, growing, and saving on this exceptionally excellent Blockchain! Always forward, onward, upward, and whaleward, ho, together we go! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙

I am pushing through towards 10k HP by end of the year and currently at 9.6K. Still a little more and hoping to all strengthen position in various layer2 coins that bring passive hive/swap.hive. Let's continue saving strong!

Great update on feedback and things. I second the decision not to have a community for SSC for the reasons mentioned. I love the idea of buddying and hope to be able to help in any way we can.
HPUD is coming indeed! Hope to add my post link when it happens. As to my week 48 progress, my HP has increased a bit but my secondary goal is so behind😊 More here.

This year my only goal that was completed was 460 EDS tokens. Rest HP goal and the HBD goal both carry forward to 2025. So it happens slow and steady for my pace :) Here's my report:

Thanks for the EDSMM! Getting close the HP 6K, right now at 5,809. Not bad for starting with a goal of 5K.
Secondary goal of 50K PIMP will have to wait until next year, I'm still at 32K and it's just too expensive right now to buy up to 50K. But I rocked my HSBI and LEO goals so I don't feel too bad!

As for as the updates for this week, I have made progress on Hive Power (12K HP) and SPS (80K SPS) and both stands at 96% completion and I am good to achieve both goals by year end for sure.
Leo Power goal is not going to be completed and will be pushed to 2025.
