The thing about decentralized systems is that we can't control what people do.
We have to go into it knowing for a fact that most people are going to act selfishly.
This is not a failure of the individual.
Holding the individual accountable will not work, nor is it justified.
This is a failure of the Hive network itself.
Hive simply does not have the proper infrastructure that allows users to generate maximum value.
Certainly you'd like to rectify this and I'm interested to see what you come up with.

Exactly, it's on hive, not us.

Hardfork rewards and allocate some to traffic generators and not just people with connections in here, and you'll see how this behavior in web2 changes in a glimpse.
