RE: MUSIC AND NFT'S

in LeoFinance4 years ago

Very recently I've seen someone using the HIVE based NFTshowroom service to NFT some of his music. Though I thought about this possibility before, this was the first time I've seen it in action (so to speak). The beauty of NFT is the proof of ownership, therefore great for ticketing (as you mentioned); It may take a lot of abuse out of that industry, taking out the traders of tickets who always try and make lots of money by purchasing the normal price and selling for three/four times more. But yea, NFT can be used for so much more, like music indeed. Instead of the signed copies of physical media, NFT offers the digital variant. All very interesting development, and love to see where all of this will be in lets say 10 years from now.

Does Emanate support NFT feature itself, or are artists using another service to create the NFTs for their work they sell?

Thank you very much, and I love your point about NFTs offering a digital variation of signed music copies. I mentioned NFTs been used by artists to reward fans with digital memorabilia.
Currently, Emanate is working on its own NFTs from what I hear, they plan to reward artists and those who have signed up on their website with one when it drops, which should be out before the end of the year. So you might want to go sign up on their website before that lol, inside scoop hehehe.

But for now Artists use another service.

Thanks for the insider info. Am not an artists, so NFTing my work is not an option :) I could NFT my pitches I've created for HIVE, KOINOS and some other stuff I uoloaded to 3Speak? Never tried to NFT that work :) Tried to NFT a photograph, since I think that should give a form of ownership to photography, but doesnt seem to get a lot of traction. People like more all the digital art.
