Making things "easier, more friendly, and convenient" it's just making users*consumers "dumber". And it's really easy to do that, unfortunately.
AI is just another tool. It's a progression from indexes of pages, keywords search, full text search, language models, ... It's still stupid and there is no real intelligence in it but that's no excuse. It's changing our lives and making us more and more submissive to whoever holds the computing power.
Realizing that is a first step to freedom. Yet it isn't enough.
