Not really too smart. I think they are just using that buzzword for the hype that comes with it
They are pretty cool though. The ones I bought have an odor-fighting technology and the fabric is thermodynamic so it helps to keep you warm if it's too cold and helps you to cool down if it's too hot
It gets really humid here in the summer and I used to wear cotton shirts thinking they were the best. However, they would collect the moisture instead of allowing it to dry. So a shirt like that would be great.
Someone told me to start wearing polyester shirts as they allow the sweat to evaporate better than cotton. It did work, but I recall seeing a safety video of people perishing in a burning building and they said the polyester shirts melted into the skin during fires and in that case cotton would have been the better in a fire.

Very true. When I was in college every time we were into the chemistry labs we needed to be wearing our 100% cotton vests. Polyester was forbidden as it's a huge safety issue in case of a fire
These shirts I got aren't polyester though, so they are safer
That's cool.
I bought a few "smart t-shirts" to try them out. I was skeptical at first but they really impressed me.

I never would have thought of that particular use for crabs though.
