RE: Leo Talk 6/29/21 - Come Join Our Chat

Morning Leo!

A few @crypto-guides related shares from me this morning.

Our Crypto Guides are looking great

Today I have:

In order to incentivise more people to help contribute content to the LeoFinance Crypto Guides project, we need some of the larger stakeholders to keep upvoting the templates.

I know it is risky upvoting a blank template, but hopefully with 5 completed guides, we've built up some trust.

Each guide turns out to be 5000 word, edited monsters that will be hugely valuable for LeoFinance long term.

If you're a writer who wants to get involved, simply pick an empty subheading on our latest SafeMoon guide template and publish a blog of your own with a link across :)

SEO is a slow, long-term process.

I know a few of you want to see us hit P1 on Google for these guide related search terms immediately but it just doesn't work that way.

So because the leofinance.io domain name is relatively young, Google doesn't yet trust us enough to index new content posted here every day.

This is entirely normal for a young domain and just takes time, links (internal and most importantly external from other trusted domains), as well as quality content to make Google check us every day.

We're building the content and internal links and will move onto external links going forward.

Patience ;)

So, I tried posting my crypto strategies article on LinkedIn and it showed my profile image instead of the picture in my post. It was weird because it worked perfectly in Facebook and Twitter. I had to remove the profile image and it looked like a plain post with now a shortened LinkedIn link by default.

Any thoughts?

I really can't stand LinkedIn. I have a profile, but it really just feels like vendors trying to sell you stuff. Actually, it reminds me of walking down the street in Vegas and the people trying to hand you the flyers for strip clubs and stuff like that.

It's a dumpster.

People say Instagram is toxic (which it is) but LinkedIn is not far off. Terrible place.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

The toxic place to me is Facebook. It seems like that has the monopoly on toxicity.

Linkedin probably turned into that because that is, quite frankly, what the masses are all about.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Can't disagree with you there!

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

It has been years since I used it. You are right. I was in sales for a long time and Linkedin was a way to try and get people to introduce you to those hard to get to. Why? To sell them stuff.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Yeah, I login once a month or so and accept all the connection requests. Then I immediately get a flood of messages wanting to sell me stuff...

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

That is about what it turned into. Really no point in it from what I can see. Drifted away from its original purpose.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

What was the original purpose to begin with?

Hmm sorry, man! I don't really use LinkedIn so I don't really know why that happens...

Maybe it's because we use Markdown styling here and LinkedIn might use something different to format posts... Have you tried to paste only the text and include the pictures and other formatting manually? Sorry, that's all I can think of!

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

That's just going to be an issue with how LinkedIn interprets and displays previews.

Another thing for @khaleelkazi to add to his long list of little back-end bug fixes ;)

I dont do anything on Linkdin either. Sorry no familiarity with it.

It's one of the reason I was surprised when people began deleting their old Steemit posts, instead of inserting a backlink to their Hive accounts at the changeover. With its longer domain age, it can help with SEO vs the brand new Hive when we forst started out. It is a long-term process and the sooner started, the better.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Most dont think in these terms. It is just a quick hit them move on. Then when it comes to Steem, there is a lot of emotion involved.

Just focusing upon this arena myself since most started posting about it in here. So I will do my best to add to it.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

The emotion around Steem has got me.

I haven't published a single thing on my Steem blog since the takeover and certainly don't plan to give Sun and his cronies any content of value.

While the linking thing does offer some value, I just can't bring myself to do it because it gives them clicks and updates.

If I ever find old content that I use for evergreen blogs here on LeoFinance, I just delete the content off the post on Steem.

Fuck them...

Awesome. 5 Crypto Guides done in total! Thank you so much @forexbrokr for managing all this.

I have 0.95 million safemoon tokens with me which I got them for pretty cheap. 😂 It would be interesting to write a guide on this. I think there isn't any utility of this token.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

The project is turning out great.

No way I could have produced all this content myself and it's been fun working with you guys.

So thank you back :)

I think there isn't any utility of this token.

So why did you buy 0.95 million of the suckers?! haha

Looking forward to reading your expertise when you do a section ;)

I will answer your question in my post 😜

TL;DR answer: Just For Fun!

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

I own 2670616.521 SAFEMOON. Don't remember why. Must have been a senior moment, or maybe one too many bourbons!

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Bourbon and Crypto do not go together.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Don't Drink & Crypto. 😂

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Working on that SEO stuff.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Thanks boss.

Keep us updated with what you're doing and how you think it's going in the new threads whenever you get a chance :)

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Great work on everyone that has contributed. Looks like this guide is really growing.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

I found this post for my Leofinance keyword for internal link!

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Nice work man.

Always link to older, relevant leofinance.io articles when you're writing new blogs.
