That depends.
Are you talking about a huge pump to 5$ and then a dump within 24 hours or at most several days?
Then there isn't much I can do. I would probably sell my liquid Hive, If I am inspired I would buy HIVE with HBD at the beginning and sell later (but I doubt I'd do this in practice since I wouldn't know how high the pump would go), I would probably remove Hive from LPs, and sell it as well. I wouldn't start any new power-down since for me it takes an additional 5 days to have delegation returned before powering down.
If we are talking about a longer trend that leads to Hive being 5$ at some point, but not as a result of a pump, that would be absolutely fantastic for everyone involved in the Hive ecosystem and I believe we would see much more activity around here at that time. Depending on the factors that led to the price increase (bull market or Hive itself becoming much more popular?), I might take one decision or another.
That was a long answer, but nice thinking about the topic... Reading your opinion, I got aware that I would probably do something similar... In the case of the long-term pump, I suppose I wouldn't power down my HIVE, but rather enjoy my curation rewards and use it like a regular everyday income... Spending it on daily basis and enjoying the life... 😃
