I don't think there is a language barrier to being in Hive and building here, simply because it is universal. Anyone can organize, build a community and make it grow with people who share the same ideals, culture, language, etc.

As a Brazilian, having been here for 5 years, my experience says otherwise. People in Brazil would love a place like Hive, and many have already come, but having to write in English is something that puts them off.
I've already written some threads explaining my point of view, but for some reason they aren't coming. Just wanted to let you know
Interestingly, the last thread, in which I warned about the problem, arrived,haha.But, in short: most people in Brazil don't speak English,so it's difficult for them to engage, network, because they will always depend on online translators.
In particular, I've seen many people give up just because they have to produce and interact in English.
