i agree but that's the nature of the work i do. It has to be in front of the computer all day long. I walk.

16k steps? That’s cool. I can barely make 200 steps a day. That’s how lady I am.

If you are doing household works, then you are definitely making more than 200 steps. Otherwise........

Some movements are necessary keep our body movable.

That's amazing! Only been able to do 5k+ today.

5k plus is definitely better than sitting idle. Keep doing daily what you can and try to increase more day by day. If you are not doing any other physical activities, 10k steps would be best for your health.

10k is the recommended step for a day. So, if you can do that, it's enough. However, the more the merrier.

I sometimes fail to make even 10k. To keep the average above 10k, we need extras on some days.
