It's mind-boggling to see these huge differences in cost of living. And I know that it is difficult all over the world at the moment, but I seriously wonder why it is necessary that here in Europe we still belong to the poorer group of people with 2000 euros a month. And that in the Netherlands with 2000 euros per month you are actually still short of money. Great to see that HBD is making your life so much easier! That's why crypto is life-changing!

there is an advantage and disadvantage to everything, it is true that things are hella cheap here and they re so expensive there, the reason is because i am actually staying in the country but earning from other countries, so that is the difference, people working in my country do not have that privilege because their earnings fit in with the economy..... so like people in europe working in europe too, their earnings fit in with the economy..
but here crypto is changing lifes in africa
Of course that's true, it all fits in the economy where you are. BUT I'm just wondering why the hell our economy needs to be this expensive. We really don't use any other raw materials. Our houses are not built of diamonds. We use the same electricity, we use the same internet connection, we have the same food sources. So I just wonder how it is possible that there are such differences in the world for the same commodities when you talk about prices. You pay $14 for a pair of jeans, we pay $80 for a pair of jeans, just to name one example.
our electricity is not the same thing, your light is stable right? i mean 24/7, some areas here don't have light for good three days, and they may on it for 1 hour and never on it again till another two days time..
I also think your country is more safer, here it is very bad, lack of security
and as for the price in commodities
an average nigeria get paid 40 dollars in a month, so definitely cant go ahead to purchase 14 dollars worth of jean out of his 40 dollars..
so let say an average citizen of your country earns 2000 dollars per month, he will be able to buy it easily with 80 dollars right?
that is the difference
those working online from here are the lucky ones not those working in the country
it is similar
No, because in this country people have very high fixed charges. Not even included the costs for food.
True, wishing it was better for your country too
That won't happen here.
I know, it's just sick!
But again ... this was not what I was wondering. I know the situation is not comparable, I know it's sick, and I know that life is supposed to be much better in these regions of the world. It's okay though, I'm happy for you that you have the possibility of making it easier for you and for the ones you choose to help! That's what matters!
yea that is just it, even with the cheap life here, 85 percent of nigerians will grab the opportunity to leave the country if they have the chance... that is how bad it is i guess... they all like that your country where you think things are hella expensive...
