I agree, I'm a fan of these changes in the workplace, too. While I don't work for a company myself, I do know plenty of people who seem positively impacted (mostly) by this increased freedom. There are also some drawbacks, though, such as lack of a place to socialize which, for young people just entering the workplace would've been important. It's not very helpful staying indoors all day at a computer with no reason to put on nice pants and talk to actual people - but then, we're all responsible for our own individual hell and escaping it, no?
How do I like to get paid? Often. A lot. Good answers? xD Set amount for sure. I always favored that to an hourly wage, mostly because I've worked primarily writing and I'm a very fast writer. Hourly wage would be very unfavorable to me, as I don't take a long time. I prefer to work for an hour and set the price we both agree on, not have to pretend to someone I've worked 5 just so they pay me something decent. Why should wasting my time equate higher quality? :)
It is always nice to read an answer from you. This is also to underline, that you are a good writer, not only fast, which I can't measure.
Best line I've read today, which is so true.
Thank you, Alex :) I appreciate that.
I appreciate your time and answers.
