Stress can cause an increase in cortisol which causes your body to store fat around your middle which is bad for your heart. I have been walking and doing light strength training every morning for about 5 or 6 weeks now. Lost count. One of the things I find stressful is being late or even just on time for an appointment.
stress is had to deal with especially at early stage because you may not really know is stress.
I'm happy you are getting better
