what do you think about the latest update from apeshift? Bitcoin can now be transferred at fast speed and low fees without lightening network.

I think these are centralization points and with different critical issues. I actually think that, overall, Dash has elegantly solved problems that Bitcoin will never be able to solve for structural reasons.
This is not meant to be a criticism of course, simply an observation. There are compromises on Dash too, but you never jeopardize the security of your funds and above all you never complicate usability by keeping the activities completely onchain.
