I think these are centralization points and with different critical issues. I actually think that, overall, Dash has elegantly solved problems that Bitcoin will never be able to solve for structural reasons.

That's the end goal! The plan is to also take my bullion and some other cool collectables that I am working on with 3D printers to some trade shows that my buddy puts on. I can get a free table. So it's a way to stack more and more silver. Eventually I would like one of the machines that tests the metals so I can buy at shows too. I would totally buy at or just over spot where most shops buy under spot. It would be a better spread than buying at the coin shop or from APMEX.

what do you think about the latest update from apeshift? Bitcoin can now be transferred at fast speed and low fees without lightening network.
I think these are centralization points and with different critical issues. I actually think that, overall, Dash has elegantly solved problems that Bitcoin will never be able to solve for structural reasons.
This is not meant to be a criticism of course, simply an observation. There are compromises on Dash too, but you never jeopardize the security of your funds and above all you never complicate usability by keeping the activities completely onchain.

I have miners for the sats part. I have cash for the silver part. But really, I am trying to start a little coin and collectable side gig. I built and manage a site for a friend that does card, comics, and collectable shows and part of my deal (because I do this for next to nothing) is I can have a table at any of the shows. So I am stacking some silver bullion to take, and coming up with some cool collectable coins that I am 3D printing with copper and brass metal composite 3D printer filament. The cool thing, this stuff actually patinas and such because of the real metal that is in it. Just something fun to flip for more cash or crypto only. It gets me out of the house and off the farm, lol.
Both are a great idea, I've been doing them both for quite awhile now!

That's the end goal! The plan is to also take my bullion and some other cool collectables that I am working on with 3D printers to some trade shows that my buddy puts on. I can get a free table. So it's a way to stack more and more silver. Eventually I would like one of the machines that tests the metals so I can buy at shows too. I would totally buy at or just over spot where most shops buy under spot. It would be a better spread than buying at the coin shop or from APMEX.
A much better place! Most decent devices run about $1K the last time I checked. Once you have one it beats the hell out of APMEX prices. That's nice to have a free table at trade shows, a great way to move your 3D creations!
