Yeah the latest upgrade appears to be really helping. I think they are going to have smart contract capabilities.

With them being so late to the party, I am not so sure there are many people who want it. If the fees are in BTC, it might be really expensive too.

Yeah I am not sure they can pull it off. Could be good for the price of the coin. But I think it is going to be tough to compete with Ethereum and some of the other chains that are establishing a foothold in that market.

Might be but I wouldn't bet on that. I think there is a major uphill battle there. We are going to see a lot of innovation.
Plus they still have the issue with scaling.

It depends. I think it will still primarily be a store of value since BTC only gets harder to get over time.

That's cool. DeFi is huge now in crypto so I think it makes sense

Staking is the most attractive feature for DeFi on BTC. Stake and forget for months or years.
Not so sure about the Liquidity pools and other complex farms unless they are auto vaults just like we have on Cub Finance.
