Taiwan doesn't seem to want the reunification. I guess tensions in that area will be increasing and I wonder what the current administration will do if conflict happens.

Yeah I dont blame Taiwan. Xi is very dangerous. He is trying to eat all of the East. These other countries know they have no control if they join China in anything.

Keep in mind, the debt-trap most countries find themselves in came out of Europe. It was mostly the Europeans and Americans who put them there.
What we are seeing is just a shifting of the master but same slavery.

The Belt and Road Initiative pissed off the US bankers though but I haven't really seen any hard hits against them for it. Because China pretty much funded them using US dollars.

That "Belt and Road" is like a financial noose around the neck of countries foolish enough to fall for it. I was reading about how Montenegro got sucked into a billion dollar road to nowhere, that they now can't affoard to finish. If they don't pay China back, They have to cede land to them. Here's the money quote:

Do not forget, much of the colonization of the last couple hundred years came from the Americans as well as Europeans.
Honestly, China is no worse than the Western countries. We pillaged the same way.
