I should know. I was watching a "Stevenote" once and must have lost track of time. Next thing you know, I snapped out of it and somehow had tried to load the Apple Store page, in order to buy the new product, without realizing it. He must have had the RDF set to stun that day! :)

No surprise since Cook himself said it didnt sound or feel like an office. He is doing this because he is lonely.

Apple will likely experience a brain drain over this long term. It is going to happen. People are going to see the lifestyles others can build. Wait until those videos hit YouTube. Some developer in Silicon Valley leaves a work in the office company for one that is work from anywhere and sets up a life by a lake in the middle of the woods and works there while having minimal expenses.

Yea I am wondering if the people leaving will use what they learned to make competing platforms. But I think there might be a non-compete clause or something

Many people seem to be gravitating more and more towards remote work. Since our world is so digital it makes sense.

The downside is physical interaction. I am not sure how emotionally healthy this trend is for people.
