Well I think it will be good publicity but the entire thing about how the centralized exchanges will work with the incoming regulations is still a bit unclear.

They will adapt. The bigger question is how long until DeFi and by extension, the decentralized exchanges start to overwhelmed the centralized ones?

I think it will be at least a decade or so before it happens. The change will probably naturally happen after people get sick of the control CEX have.
