Feel really bad for @jongolson and for Canada.

They made the Panthers sweat.

And their 120 fans...

Still bitter lol

Didnt actually know that Panthers were this good at the start of the season.

It was a great run. So close.

Maybe next year. How long time has it been since a Canadian team won Stanley cup?

Who are the Hockey Hall of Fame-caliber players on the Panthers? I think the Oilers have at least 1.

Not a huge hockey fan but the team they have put together, Tkachuk and Barkov finally got them the Stanley Cup

The NHL needs more first-time champions. The droughts will continue for the NYR, NYI, NJD, PHI, MON, and TOR.

On the clock: Toronto Maple Leafs (1967). On deck: Philadelphia Flyers (1975).

Are any of those close enough? We’ll see.

TOR: 1967
PHI: 1975
NYI: 1983
MON: 1993
NYR: 1994
NJD: 2003

All other teams are either Cup winners since or still seeking their 1st Cup.

Go Rangers!

The Montreal Canadiens need to be sold to an owner who's like the second coming of George M. Steibrenner III. Or Don Cherry.
