Oh absolutely. Top of mind. The more you are seen, the more people notice you which in turn, gets more followers, and potential upvotes.

My only issue is I don't have a product or service to sell online. Which means I have to do something if my influence gets stronger. So that's the part I have not figured out yet. :)
That does come with time but I have always told my members, you have to find a passion. And that's what you become the 'expert' in. When someone thinks of this, they think of you.
Because creating content and talking about things all day, every day. Isn't always a lot of fun lolol So you have to be sure you LOVE what it is.
