I don't think AI will destroy jobs, it sounds like the credit card cloning online in the 90s before ecommerce took off. Or the demise of brick and mortar in the 2000s.

nothing to think about … it‘s already happening all over the place …
Just because you are seen isolated events you aren't seen the job creation is generating. I've seen new AI based apps all the time, which means more and more data scientists are being hired.
Nobody cared or needed data scientists 8 years ago compared to cloud engineers.
Second point, just like music industry, the access to better technology make users professionalize into areas they will otherwise wouldn't be. Take the teenager becoming a DJ because he accessed virtual dj as opposed of having to buy super expensive racks. Same with finance and others. How many people found careers in p2p marketplaces as brokers, which otherwise wouldn't even care about finance or learning technical analysis of it wasn't for crypto trading.
