#tuesdaytips

Eat low-carb, high fat early in the day

Save your carbs/heavy meals for later in the day

I personally do protein shakes and meat for breakfast (eggs & turkey bacon for example)

Your mental clarity and desire to workout will thank you

Sort:

We eat heavy meal in the morning and take lighter meal in the noon, then again for dinner, another heavy meal. This is how most people eat here because of the nature of their jobs. Eat heavy to have power for work.

I should follow this more, but I do 18 fasts 3 days a week and try to not consume anything until 90 minutes after I wake up.
Now that I am in my 50's I try to increase protein as a percentage of my calories.

but I still love a good drink !

You just dropped a trick to your freshness. LOL.

Great tip BTW.

I do smoothies for breakfast most times, watermelon & beetroot smoothie.

I'm eating more like that now. I started the gym 2 weeks ago, and it had made a huge difference for my energy on the day. First week I felt I was going to die but now I'm not sleepy until it is actually time to go to bed.

I was less physically tired before, just mentally, and It made me be sleepy all day and then have insomnia at night 😅

Protein rich breakfast is my favorite as well.

I'll consider that suggestion. Thanks for the tips 😉
