Right now it is having the opposite effect on my business as I thought it would. I have said no to quite a few load opportunities as I just do not want to work 70+ hrs a week right now. And I am also avoiding parts of this country that are hot spots for the mass zombie like mental illness behavior that is spreading across this planet.
Some of the overall load rates are still lower than normal. But no real shortage of freight, as this planned-demic has seemed to make the driver (truck) shortage even larger than it was before the flu virus strain covid 19 was used to terrorize the world by China who was losing badly in a trade war.
The future is unknown in my industry. Autonomous trucks are being fast tracked. Just like the improperly tested covid vaccines they will kill many people I fear...
The more I think about it, a space trucking trip to Mars is looking pretty good right now G- Dog.!

I like your autonomous truck comment...Yep, that'll happen and then goodbye jobs. I fail to understand how automating everything is supposed to create jobs like the millennial's suggest. Maybe it's just wishful thinking on their part?
Oh hang on, there'll be loads of jobs, the most prevalent of which will be this one:
Standing in queue at the unemployment office.
