Yes, a one-stop-shop for accessing the info is valuable. Facebook had that appeal, pp sharing stuff and you can see it all to get convenient access to lots of stuff you might be interested in.
The Hive name seems to have been a bit hasty, but oh well.
Well a few lines, there's more than a few lol. Wisdom, do most posts on trending have wisdom? Opinion indeed, I wasn't trying to be wise. Is there a need for a solution? What's the problem again? Would anyone really pay $1 for one piece of written content on Hive, Steem or any other website? Maybe a subscription where what you read costs you a few cents on average, depending on how often you read it. It's almost all overvalued when you think about how much you would be willing to pay from your pocket. But I getcha ;)

Don't worry. I'm being super opinionated right now. It's good you understand where I'm coming from and I'm sure many others do as well.
Don't sell yourself short though. You're basically saying your product is worthless, as well as all the other products. Just because we don't see the dollar signs beside content found all over the web, that does not mean it's not generating any value. I'm actually happy a shit post like yours makes this much. That means the posts that are ten times better and offer more to the consumer can also be worth that much, or more. What that does is attract higher caliber acts that will put us all to shame and what they do is attract the money you think doesn't exist.
Probably worth mentioning there's no rule that says one must wait until someone better comes along before it's time to up the ante and give consumers a reason to consume and spend money.
