today has been quite the adventure

what started as a simple tire appointment turned into a saga

instead of replacing my tired with a giant gash in it, they replaced one of my brand new tires with a new tire...

so I had to go back in and show them that the tire that's fucked up is still there since they replaced the wrong one. then they proceeded to tell me that they did a warranty claim for me instead of just putting the tire I purchased on... the manager was dumbfounded.

so I ended up with 2 new tires because they didn't follow the manager's direction to take the one they put on off, replace it with the original, and out the new one on the correct rim.

can't make this shit up.

Sort:

What a situation... These things involving cars, for example, we must always be aware. You did the right thing to be very careful about this and pass the situation on to the manager.

oh yeah I wasn't about to talk to they guy that actually put in the order lol

The stupidity is starting to run rampid.... in New York everyone is stoned now and service gets a little lost sometimes! Sorry you had to deal with that. Mixed new tires tho

lol everyone stoned and don't give a fuck

Which is totaly fine.. but don't let it get in your way... know what I mean?

exactly. If you're still a decent person do whatever you want

eah do what you want!

Can we just get the fourth new tire since it sounds like three and call it even? Crazy...

You would think that the mechanics would have the common sense to see which tire is damaged before replacing it... but then again, once in a blue moon, a surgeon operates on the wrong body part. 🤷‍♂️

Their reaction after you pointed out the mistake definitively affirms a considerable level of stupidity.

yeah it was a whole lot of fuckery lol
