Now it is time to work on #FedGlossary on @leoglossary.
Since most are confused about that subject, it will be informative. The banking realm is taking over so far, which isnt surprising considering how much it is in control of the financial system.
This is what cryptocurrency has to offset.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
That is amazing! Will be learning a lot from it.

It is necessary and as a new user, i am doing so well by engaging in other articles. Thank you for the reminder and I will sure reblog this post.
How are you finding Hive and LeoFinance?
Any questions or problems we can help you with?
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yes please, I will like to know more on the topics that is accepted in leofinance community and also the necessary tags I am expected to use as a newbie Sir?
Anything finance or crypto related is acceptable in LeoFinance.
My advice would be to simply share your personal journey with crypto.
It doesn't matter if you're still new to the scene, just share your journey as you grow.
When it comes to tags, the most important thing is to use a few that are relevant to the topic that you're writing about.
Then for the rest, you can use whatever community tags you feel like - that part is up to you.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Thank you so much for this valuable information, i will sure do the needful just as you have recommended
@behiver wrote a great article about Leo-related tags.

Be sure to check it out and welcome to the community!

Saw it. I included CENT on the comments to that post, however, as stated, I'm not sure what is the current status of that project
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Ah damn it.
Looks like the centblog.org front-end has stopped working.
Even though I'm using the tag, it looks like my Cent Profile has gone blank.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
It seems that the centblog.org front-end is working again today.
Must have just been a glitch or something yesterday.
The CENT tag lives on! ;)
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Cool! Thanks for the headsup!
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
It okay, i will surely visit his article.
I just want to again stress that best practice for tagging posts is to start by tagging your content by topic.
So for example if you are writing about Bitcoin, start by tagging it with #bitcoin #crypto.
Only after doing that should you worry about other community tags like #cent #ctp #whatever.

Thank you so much for this information, now I know better
And I must say Hive is indeed wonderful and as a new user, I started posting but I gained less viewers and less votes so I decided to engage more and comment more on other users post in other to learn and know the basic thing here on hive platform.
Yep, building a reputation and audience on Hive is a bit of a slow process.
Just keep showing up, adding value with your comments (so talking about the topic of the blog you're commenting on and not just saying annoying stuff like 'good post').
If you do this then people will take notice and upvote your content.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Thank you so much for this hint. I will sure participate in engaging users post.
It takes time. But being active here is a great way to get more eyes on your content!

You are right sir and that is what I have figured out. I believe commenting and engaging on others article will help a new user to be cited. Thank you for your kind words.
If anyone is playing #dCrops or has thought about getting involved, there are only 3 days left to get BETA packs at a discount on the pre-sale. There are a whole LOT of new mechanics being introduced in the Beta including cooking, crafting, building, and planting trees. Some really great stuff being done. Not financial advice but it may be worth picking up a few packs, even just to hold onto. 1) Each unopened pack is worth 2000 CROP towards holding rewards that are paid in HIVE every day, and 2) the Alpha packs are worth almost double last I checked so...when these sell out, there might be some price appreciation opportunity. Plus, you may decide you want to try the game so it wouldn't be a bad idea to get a few at the discount.
I, for one, am excited about the changes. I'm not looking at this as a huge moneymaker or anything. I just enjoy playing it. Plus, with my packs and CROP, I'm getting over 2 HIVE a day from the holding rewards. That alone is worth the price of admission in my book. 60 HIVE a month could be $600/month someday if and when HIVE sees $10.
Anyway, you can read about the new BETA stuff here.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I saw you are on the top 3 or something for crop power
COngrats!
I got some beta packs, lands and seeds to try out the new expansion. Should be fun
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yes, I'm sure that top 3 rating won't last. I just bought a bunch of packs in the pre-sale so my CROP Power (which is what the holding rewards are based on) is high right now. I'm sure there will be others who follow and mine will go down as I start opening the packs.
Congrats on picking some up. The game looks like it could really turn into an entertaining adventure. With this new release there is all of a sudden a LOT you can do. It will be interesting for sure.

I'm always wary of spreading myself too thin.
You are giving me fomo though...
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
He had me at 3 days left.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Consider it payback for what you did to my opinions with your latest article. I was all set to sell my ONEUP and now I've got to keep it. lol
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
One day they will call us lucky for deciding to hold on you our ONEUP. One day...
I know the feeling well. I'm just pointing out the fact the pre-sale discount is ending soon so...if you want in, might as well get the discount, right? I just like the farming part of it and, as I said, the holding rewards are great. I'll probably hold the majority of my packs unopened for a while and just collect the HIVE while the community figures out what the best way to play it is going to be.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Okay fuck it, I'm in haha.

It seems like #leothreads did little to add to the numbers. After a short burst, it dropped off a great deal. Fairly typical on Leofinance. Most talk about how they want stuff and then when it arrives they dont use it.
At least they are busy on Twitter and Discord.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Bummer
I'm trying to increase my activity on #threads. Today I used my breaks from work to put up a #thread or two
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Don't get disenchanted mate, creating all of this content is a good thing!
Even if it's not ranking now, you can edit and repurpose it.
Nothing is wasted :)
Now that you have a huge base of content. written, my advice would be to start considering general SEO best-practises.
Things like having 500+ words, more Google friendly H1s, as well as H2 and H3 subheadings that feature the target keyword.
I know you're trying to keep it clean and short, but you've still gotta consider what Google wants in content.
Have a play with the format, but I'd say at the very least, always put a H2 at the very top featuring the keyword.
Also finally, just remember that evergreen SEO like this is an extremely slow burn that doesn't show real results until much further into the future.
Don't give up :)
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
If I'm readin the latest SEO update correctly the format task is using will be a more desirable one in the near future.
Key points from the update:
It seems that search engines will prefer short but on-point content in the future with no filler text and keyword length preference.
Dunno how they plan to enforce all that was stated there but the update is kinda huge if they can roll it out correctly.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Lol at how vague their SEO advice is.
Remember that for Google's business, the most important thing is that they get you to pay for ads.
SEO is just an annoying extra for them ;)
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I completely agree but this does seem like a radical change or the beginning of one. Gonna give them the benefit of the doubt on this one.
It is part of the process. There are some topics where 500 words can be achieved. However, a lot of it is short blurts since the definitions are rather straight forward.
You are right, a lot of information packing being done.
My frustration isnt so much with Leoglossary. I know people using something like that isnt going to happen for the most people. The majority do not write 500 word posts, let alone taking the time to link words.
It is with Threads. There are so many "lions" who probably havent posted a single thread.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Whoops, I totally read your first comment as 'leoglossary'!! 🙈
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Waning enthusiasm after novelty wears off is to be expected. I wouldn't worry too much. Like with everything else, success comes after a long grind.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Also, I see that Google is often indexing the PeakD or Hive Blog versions of your leoglossary posts.
Even though you're using leofinance.io to post and therefore telling Google via the canonical that it is the original that you want ranked, the algo still reserves the right to go rogue and index another version if it sees it as being of higher value.
And remember, our domain sucks haha... So pretty much everything else is of higher value.
I've found one of the best ways to make the Google algo index our version is to use the otther community tags and therefore automatically create more versions of the post with the canonical set to leofinance.io.
I know it sounds counter-intuitive, but it works because it's giving more opportunity for the Google crawler to read the canonical links and go 'okay, everyone is saying to index the leo version so that's the one I've gotta index."
I'll let you figure out the politics of pissing off other communities by using their tag haha...
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yeah Leofinance's ranking does suck. It does trail hive.blog and peakd. So there is nothing to do but to get more content on there and try to get Khal to do some basics to the site.
One I am focusing upon is getting a flow of information. By using some basic menu mapping, I an trying to bring it all together in a nice package for Google. Of course, it is just a small part of the overall pages on the site but it is all I can do.
I told khal a link to the main menu for LeoGlossary needs to go on Leofinance.io.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Pitch it to him as the pretty much defunct LeoPedia, but on the main domain.
Tell him you will edit the posts so he can format the content however he wants.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I thought it was a glitch not seeing more #threads. It seems the excitement of some waned and prefer Discord and Twitter.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
It could be that those apps bring them more value than Threads. Imo it's a natural process. It takes time to make a mental shift but it also takes time for a project like Threads to start providing value consistently.
For me personally, the issue is that I can see everyone's thoughts on my feed. I'm used to filtering feeds and going through Threads can sometimes feel like work.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Haha this.
In all honesty, it's a massive slog 😂.
Definitely need to get feeds and filters into an update.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
We are going to have a Leoglossary word of the day. With this, I will post a word with the link and each of us has to try to apply it to comments on posts (and us it in our posts).
If we can add 25 internal back links per day to these different terms, it would help.
Today's lets focus upon Blockchain.
Here is the link: https://leofinance.io/@leoglossary/blockchain
Get this posted in at least 5 different comment sections.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
That should be easy! Not hard to squeeze blockchain in a comment or post
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
No it isnt. Each day I will choose one term that is easy to implement and needs more back links.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Great idea!
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
REMINDER!!!
Get those #CANDIES. If you were lax, you will regret it.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Thank you, 60 today. Will be at the top tomorrow
