The only reason to use Twitter now is to promote #Leothreads and #web3.
it needs making super easy user friendly, it would be better to be seperate from leo all together. Its too cluttered as a side huslte for leo finance. Step in right direction. User experience is everything.
Eventually this is going to end up as #projectBlank.
#Leothreads is only the test for the infrastructure on #hive. Once those bugs are worked out and scaling possible, we will see things likely shifted to that.

This is something I like about Dbuzz too. But, their implementation is rate limited by the threat of Hive police who downvote people who post too often or earn too much. Threads might just be too much to police.
Dbuzz operates at the blog level. It sets of autovoters and a bunch of other things.
This is operating at the comment level. #threads is doing nothing more than adding hundreds of comments. Hopefully that will turn into thousands soon.
Plus no 5 minute wait time to post again.

Yes, each thread is just a comment so anywhere you can edit a comment.
I had to edit some of my threads since the photos were not showing up.
I searched how to edit my #thread but it doesn't work. Threads do not change even if they are edited from other interfaces. So it is possible to change it as a comment, but there is no change in threads.

I barely rent anymore since the two day rental minimum. I think a lot of people got fooled by the increase in rental revenue early on as people (and bots) weren't used to it. Strategies have changed and so have renting habits...
I think it'll be a net positive, but there is an adjustment period as everyone figures out the best way to battle going forward.
When DEC gets replaced by SPS is going to be another major shake up

Hive & Leo offer the same opportunities for everyone who creates an account and wants to be part of the community, but investing in the tokens increases your chance of making connections faster and gets your posts more votes & comments.
It's not a "Pay to Win" community where only those who invest in the native tokens will get post rewards. I have seen many authors with considerable rewards and a small wallet, but it definitely helps out if you have a big wallet.
Buying the native tokens and staking them shows your long term commitment towards the blockchain and shows that you believe that the price will rise, and you put your money where your mouth is. I even made a post about this specific topic.
The more HP/LP you hold, the faster you'll get noticed by other users, and the more attention your posts will get from a) authors looking to get some curation, b) authors voting your posts so you do the same c) investors who want to connect
Having an Orca status on Leo means nothing if you don't engage with the community. You may have a lot of Leo Power but Leo Finance isn't just about that, you actually have to get involved, this is why I joined the LPUD initiative.
The pattern of voting circles on Hive, where some people with a big stake only vote on posts made by people with a big stake expecting the same from them, doesn't repeat on Leo Finance, the whales actually curate low stake users.

Yep, you get regular notifications for comments, plus notifications on Leofinance take you to Threads if it's a Threads reply, apparently.
Yes plus there is always the comment section to look in.
How often are the container posts created? If they are too often, it may be difficult to find your older threads.

Threads are a kind of comment and that‘s where you find them on your profile … Posts / Comments … Not on your Blog section … at least that‘s what i‘ve checked on the leofinance frontend … 🖖🏼😎🤙🏼

Each #thread is a comment (or a comment tree if a discussion is going on) on a top-level container post. Such container posts are created by the interface automatically.
we broke it a bit. it shows as a comment on PeakD. You can even reply to it and i think it will show here.
I'm pretty sure it's filtering for comments that are submitted from LeoFinance. I've tried responding on threads from Peakd and the comment counter goes up but I've not seen the content show.

but i would not rule out anything yet because it is struggling to keep up with the traffic

I think it is safe to say that #leothreads is the best thing that happened to #hive engagement. The level of #engagement I have been getting even under the clunky UI with barely few features is already phenomenal. We have a #twitter killer!
