Ever really wondered what engagement could have been without threads. What actually could have been its fate on leofinance community and hive blockchain at large without the unveiling of threads the activator and the difference.
Earlier before now, the known engagement pattern has been commenting under articles, publishing of articles, staking and stacking of community tokens, this soul to soul dialogue and conversation hasn't been there.
But with the unveiling of thread feature on this new interface that has been a great difference on engagement pattern and ways and to an extent, the wholesomeness of an engagement is tied to THREADS.
Notice that threads covers it all to an extent as the first month of users understanding of what threads is, it pulled a stunt on engagement level such that it has already housed a campaigned called #zealy which actually went well.
What is needed to engage to breakthorough patterns of what engagement could be, threads is on it and at the tail end making it better and easier. Looking for a long sought soul-to-soul dialogue, threads have it.

Technically yes, but most humans don't care about technicalities and the details. The majority FEEL like it's censorship and is a huge reason my Hive MAUs are so low with so many accounts and why many won't come.

I just read your other thread; well it doesn't look like a sarcasm. I disagree, I'm here to talk, not earn money. When money is involved in something, it changes its form. Games, social media, friendships; this is true for everything.
I don't want to build the next circlejerk. The only real cost in developing the new interface is the dev cost. Hosting cost for them is not high if you are not dumb enough to buy from first cloud provider you see like digitalocean.
I think blockchain based communities gets this wrong sometimes. Not everything should financially incetivized. Can there be someone doing that? Ofc there can; but that doesn't mean I have to play by that. It is unnecessarily complex.
I always stated I dislike some community posts even when I was working for Leo. It was also the main reason why I left; this is just like a big echo chamber. As a content value, random discord server with a hundred users has better content.
For those reasons, I think we should be building infrastracture without financial expectations. If that was something people needed, then people will notice and use it. If they use it, they will invest in it.
Threads is the most exciting project on hive in a long time. It's also the most polished by far. For people to be against the proposal saying it's been tried before and didn't work; well maybe because what was marketed wasn't appealing? 🤔

what cent does? I have some in my wallet but don't know anything about it.
I wrote an article about $CENT a year ago. I am not sure if the goals remain the same. These are some of the points I highlighted:
Not just a tribal token.
The long-term goal is to link it to other blockchains.
To keep the price of the token close to $0.01.
Existing liquidity pools: HIVE/CENT, CENT/POB, CENT/LEO, and HBD/CENT. I think they added more.
The issuer intends to grow the utility of the token over time.
