When VSC rolls out, what you propose could be viable.
Right, there is a need for some kind of smart contract capability. We're getting closer to this becoming a reality.
Once we have that, I am hopeful the development will explode as devs has more access to what they need.

We got chickens this past summer. They have started to lay eggs. My wife wouldn't eat one until I did because she was suspect of eggs fresh from our chickens.
For the record, the eggs were delicious. She's crazy.
