I think with the introduction of threads, the spirit and urge to engage came to lim light as people can freely interact, ask questions, blogs on any news and article and at the tail end increase engagement levels.
By consistently showing up and actively engaging with others, you can impress the community members and increase your chances of receiving votes. This is particularly important for newcomers who are looking to establish themselves.

one of the factors that seems to keep convo here more civil is if people want to act the fool they get the downvotes to match on Hive. On Web2 ... they get suspended and open another account so they don't care.

Google does that already. Microsfot probably does too. The problem is AI is also being used to shape emails in a way that they can bypass spam filters so it's a tough battle.
The problem is that Google and Microsoft like to shape what we see. I can see them blocking emails based on content that doesn't fit their agenda rather than it being actual spam.

When I notice the reply notification and go there, it kind of gives me "oops" error. So visiting the notification in quick can result in that. if the notification gets older than 1 min + then that error does not come usually.

What if Google, Outlook and other email services make use of the AI and filter the spam before it even arrives to us. Itd get rid of the spam folder use case.
i like the concept, but AI isn't perfect & a lot of actual emails you want go to spam. this could be a huge issue.
Google does that already. Microsfot probably does too. The problem is AI is also being used to shape emails in a way that they can bypass spam filters so it's a tough battle.
haha, you've made one of a pretty suggestion there and it would be really nice so we don't get to filter the spam messages by ourselves.
Google already experimenting with AI, it might soon hit the internet.
The problem is that Google and Microsoft like to shape what we see. I can see them blocking emails based on content that doesn't fit their agenda rather than it being actual spam.
