I don't think curators are a solution. You'd need a trusted news section for professional writers to publish into, maybe split short breaking news and posts apart.

what do you do when an employer posts a job posting, the same job you have, and the hourly rate offered is more than your current pay?
It's pretty typical in some jobs. In nursing 22 year old new grads can make more than people who started 5 years ago right out of the gate.
How can that be rationalized?

It can't. That's why nurses these days move units every 6 months or go traveling where they make $100+ dollars an hour.
It's a slap in the face and not good for job retention to pay loyal employees less.

Kinda, I started when I was six. But than had a 15 year gap in between. Now at it again for more than 5 years. If I would have stayed at it probably would be competing professionally.
You've got some serious experience then. I've had only 3 active years in total - V5/6C is the toughest boulder I've completed I believe. Yeah I should really get back into it too..
I used to go a lot. I would say it's the best form if fitness ever because you don't even realise how hard you have worked until afterwards!
Facts, gotta be careful not to overdo it. A lot of times I injured myself because I wanted to give that route another try :)

The gambling industry is a speculative and it runs into trillions of dollars. People buy stocks for speculative reason. These are intangible and they are assigned value based on what's general agreed upon (the same applies to fiat--it has not value of its own). One million dollar in the desert has no value if no one wants to exchange it for food or drink.
Value and utility can be subjective things.
Anything can B used 4 speculation. We C that w/ USD, precious metals, commodities, even sundries. These items also have utility. D trick is N finding new uses 4 old things. Viagra began as heart medication; U know what happened after that.
